The Carlisle Rotary’s Youth Service Lane works with Big Spring, Carlisle, and Boiling Springs high schools to recognize a Student of the Month (SOM) throughout the school year.  All students from these local high schools are encouraged to participate in the Rotary Four-Way Speech Contest and apply for the Rotary Youth Leadership Award (RYLA).  Carlisle Rotary awards a senior student at each high school with a scholarship in honor of past Carlisle Rotary President, Juan Garcia-Tunon.
