The Rotary Club of Carlisle recently honored KaRon Spriggs-Bethea as the January Student of the Month. He is a senior at Carlisle High School and has been class president for the last three years. KaRon received this recognition for exhibiting outstanding leadership, service, and scholastic achievement to both his school and community.
His numerous activities include prom committee, homecoming activities, and senior class trip to New York City. His enthusiasm and compassion are two of his fine character qualities. He has spearheaded a successful school-wide blood drive and raised money to purchase gifts for a family in need during the holiday season.
KaRon’s leadership abilities were recognized with his selection by the faculty to attend Keystone Boys State last summer. He has volunteered at Bosler Library and has tutored students at Mooreland Elementary School.
He is an honor roll student balancing his studies and school activities with a part-time job at Wendy’s. KaRon plans to major in political science with the goal of becoming a lawyer. The Rotary Club of Carlisle congratulates KaRon on all his achievements and wishes him the best of luck in his future endeavors.
